Hadn't even heard of him until today on As It Happens, but now I want to buy his records.

That is so sad! Martynn was an amazing guy a complete inspiration to me. I found out about him from his cousin who happened to live nearby in the south of England. Since then I have bought all his albums... I'm totally, totally gutted by this!
